They didn’t need the models but we provided detailed drawings for the Nieuport 17. Now you can own a set too. This detailed 4 page plan set is printed at an exact 1"-1' scale size (36" x 48") These beautiful drawings show the complete internal and construction details of the famous Nieuport 17 and the later derivation the 23. Sales proceeds from the plans will go to our friends at WWI Aero magazine to help them keep the history alive. For those of you who want the actual airplane we now offer the N17 in kit form. This easy building 1/4 scale design is taken directly from the full scale plan and features a real aluminum cowl, 9 cylinder engine kit, Vickers Machine gun, vintage wheels and cockpit details.

The 1/4 scale model also features our new innovative fast build laser cut airframe. Interlocking wood parts allow you to save hours of assembly time. Suitable for electric or gas/glow power this beautiful French fighter is a “must have” for any early aviation collection. Nieuport 17 kits are available in a 1/4 flying and 1/12 static scale.
